We have advised the founder and CEO of a fast growing privately held leading influencer company on the transformation from a managed service to a platform business.

Our client is a leading influencer marketing company that has been in business for over six years and until last year was operating as a managed service for brands and agencies, allowing for seamless delivery of campaigns from beginning to end. As part of the transition to a platform business, it has developed a unique SaaS data proposition with a built-in value calculator that measures a creator's influence based on engagements.

As the company was looking to raise capital, we have helped it in getting investor ready, which included creation of an investor story, as well as identification and closing of any operational gaps that the company had. We have advised the CEO on the creation of a robust company and product roadmap with well-defined milestones.

Having completed this initial work, we focussed on three areas:

  • bridging the role of the Chief Product Officer which included finding a new technology partner, creating a product roadmap, user stories, developing further functionality and features, product leadership, project management, user involvement and testing

  • Assistance in development of the SAAS proposition and business model;

  • Streamlining of operations including finance, sales and technology.
